			Gite: 1 Bedroom - sleeps up to 4 Main accommodation of the gite is entered at ground level from the patio area, and to a downstairs entrance hall from the parking area. Downstairs there is a "cave" and toilet/shower room leading off the hall – convenient when you are using the pool. From the hall, stairs lead up to the main living area which consists of one large open plan room with kitchen, dining and sitting areas. There is a large open fireplace, stone-flagged floor and wood beam ceiling. The kitchen area is equipped with cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, and a comprehensive set of utensils, and everything else you will need.


	The bedroom with double bed is off the main room, and there is a bed-settee in the main room, so the gite can comfortably accommodate four people. A shower room also leads off the main room. An old oak front door leads from the main living area to the patio, with garden table, chairs and a barbecue. Several mature trees provide plenty of shade for when the temperature rises.


			From the living room, there are views over the pool and grounds, and to the woods and hills beyond. There are settees and chairs in the living room as well as satellite TV (all free UK channels) and a CD/cassette player.


	Chez Denis is situated in the Parc naturel régional Périgorde-Limousin, and you will find beautiful countryside all around. There are walks to take right from the door, or you can use the bicycles (available on request) to explore the rolling countryside or visit local restaurants offering excellent cuisine at unbelievably low prices. There is a small supermarket 5 mins away at Vieux Mareuil, where you can buy bread, milk and other day to day supplies. Larger supermarkets can be found about 20 mins away at Brantome or Mareuil.
